Neurodiversity in the Workplace

    Guest Speaker: Sabrina Caston, LMSW, IDD CIS, QIDP, Crisis Intervention Specialist, Helen Farabee Center


    Program Description: Confused about what neurodiversity is? In this presentation, Ms. Caston will discuss what neurodiversity means and what it can look like, the advantages of hiring neurodiverse people, and typical accommodations that may be needed. 


    Speaker Bio: 

    Sabrina Caston is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in Texas. She  currently works as a Crisis Intervention Specialist at Helen Farabee Centers working with individuals diagnosed with having intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD).  Previously, she worked as a Qualified Mental Health Professional at Pathways Youth and Family Services providing skill building and behavior support to children in the foster care system. Ms. Caston has worked in both Intake and Continuity of Care at Helen Farabee Centers. She is a graduate of Arizona State University with a Master’s of Social Work and a Master’s of Sociology.
