David Cook

Guest Speaker: David Cook, Financial Partners

Topic:  Group Health Benefits and the Fiduciary Responsibility of the Employer

Program Description:

Group health benefits have become on of the biggest employer expense items on the balance sheet.  Most firms have chosen to reduce benefits to combat the rising costs of premiums rather than taking on the fiduciary responsibility of fully researching all options available for their employees.  This session will focus on the exposure an organization takes when not addressing the true problem of rising healthcare financing and how to effectively fight the insurance cartels.

Learning Objectives: 1.) Understand the fiduciary responsibility of the employer as it relates to group health benefits. 2.) The role of the HR and the Agent.  3.) How to find high-quality benefits while maximizing employee contributions.
