                    Helping your employees to understand and manage stress

Program Description:  This presentation will include the use and the discussion of how to use readily available survey instruments for employees to gauge their own stress levels and ideas on how to reduce work related stress.  This presentation will cover aspects of transitioning from work in the office to work at home and the transiting back to working at the office.  We will cover the immune system and the effect stress has on the immune system.

In this session you will learn:

•  Understand the difference between eustress, daily hassles, acute and chronic stress
•  Understand and utilize the Social Readjustment Rating Scale (SRRS)
•  Recognizing and helping employees with General Adaptation Syndrome
•  Understand some of the effects of stress on the immune system and mental health
•  Enabling employees to effectively deal with the additional stress related to working at home
