Different personality types process and communicate information differently. It is well-established that individuals with certain personality type preferences find some leadership activities easier than others. Yet we also know that effective leadership requires utilizing a wide range of behaviors – whether they are natural to us or not.

Communication style is characterized by the way people appear (or attempt to appear) in communication, the way they tend to relate to the ones they communicate with and how their messages are typically interpreted.
