  • $10 Meal Price is for members only.

Program Description: 

In this presentation, we will take a practical approach of incorporating HR functions in the application of an organizations business model to demonstrate the increase value of human resources to the organization.  Participants in this session will be provided with an overview of the evolution of the HR profession throughout the years, establishing a plan to align HR functions to their organizations purpose, and application of human resources providers to allow them to be more efficient in today’s business climate.

Speaker Biography:
Robert Propp received his Bachelors of Business Administration with an emphasis in management from Midwestern State University in 1999.  Upon graduation he began his career in human resources as a staffing specialist for an employment agency.  During his tenure with the employment agency he serviced a variety of clients by providing them with Human Resource functions including recruiting, workers compensation management, on boarding, out sourcing and employee investigations.  In 2007 he was servicing over 50 clients in the Wichita Falls area in various disciplines from manufacturing, customer service and healthcare.  In 2008, he assumed his current role of Director of Human Resources with Hospice of Wichita Falls where he oversees the entire Human Resource function for the organization of over 225 employees.  I have been PHR Certified since 2008 and obtained SHRM-CP in 2015.  I have held offices with the Wichita Falls Human Resources Management Association of President Elect, President, Immediate Past President, College Relations Chair and Communications Chair.  I am currently serving on the Texas State Council of TXSHRM as a District Director.   

Although professional development is important to me, my top priority is my wife, Amy of 16 years; sons Aiden (8) and Beckett (5).  We volunteer with Church related activities in the preschool and upward sports.  We are also involved in many nonprofit ministries.
