Guest Speaker: Monica Horton
Topic: In Pursuit of Ethics
Program Description: American workers don't have to be CEOs to face questions of ethical behavior.  A report by an ethics consulting firm uncovered some troubling statistics:  three out of four American workers said that they encountered ethical lapses in the workplace; more than one in three called the lapses distracting; and one in ten believed a current ethical issue at their company could cause a scandal or business disruption.
Ethical lapses, with their potential for reduced productivity and damaged professional reputation all the way up to criminal prosecution, aren’t really complicated affairs. They all begin as ethical dilemmas or questions. They begin as choices. Do I choose Supplier A or Supplier B for our inventory? Do I say Yes or do I say No when a customer asks this question?
Sometimes the choices seem so simple that workers may not even recognize them as ethical questions.

That’s what this training program, In Pursuit Of Ethics, is designed to do: help your employees recognize that everyday choices can be ethical questions. The program uses a unique approach in which complex real-life situations are presented in an entertaining way. The classes include both videos and discussions about real-life ethical dilemmas. The audience makes the decisions and selects the direction of the program. No two classes are exactly the same.

Attendees receive numerous benefits upon successful class completion. In addition to the feeling of satisfaction generated by an enjoyable learning experience, participants will receive Certificates of Completion.
