  • $10 Meal Price is for members only.

Speaker Biography:   

Susan Gross, M.A., LPC

Education and Family Care Specialist

Alzheimer’s Association’s North Central Texas Chapter

Sue Gross is a 2012 MSU graduate with a Master’s in Clinical Psychology and Counseling, whose graduate dementia research was published in a 2013 edition of the “Dementia International Journal.”  She has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2015. 

After a year as a geriatric therapist in Bowie, Sue is now in her fifth year with the Alzheimer’s Association’s, Wichita Falls Office as their Education and Family Care Specialist.  Sue is scheduled every semester as a lecturer on dementia at Midwestern State University’s psychology, sociology, social working and nursing departments.  Besides community education, she supports and counsels family caregivers facing the daunting task of caring for loved ones living with any form of dementia.
